▪️藝術家簡介 官思岑（KUAN, SZE-CHEN），1976年出生於台灣高雄。畢業於台灣大學經濟學系，後赴美深造，取得紐約大學（NYU）視覺與科技碩士及帕森斯設計學院（Parsons）時尚設計學位。擁有二十餘年跨足服裝、工業設計與整體造型的深厚資歷，並曾受邀擔任兩岸及國際彩妝造型大賽評審。這段長期累積的設計與時尚經驗，成為她轉向純藝術創作時最獨特的養分。 官思岑的藝術風格率性、個性鮮明，在具穿透力的線條中帶有微觀的怪誕美學。 對她而言，時尚不只是外在造型，更是反映社會脈動與個人身分的視覺符號； 而她真正關注的，是外表之下那些隱秘發生、難以言說的心理狀態。 成長經驗使她對關係中的衝突、失衡與情緒拉扯極為敏銳， 這份心理洞察也逐漸成為其創作的核心。 她以人物為主要媒介，結合油彩、壓克力與炭筆， 透過強烈線條、鮮明色彩以及具象與抽象交織的形體，探索愛與控制、靠近與逃離、依賴與抗拒等親密關係中看不見卻真實存在的力量。 色彩是她情緒的強度，人物則是承載內在狀態的容器。 她將對當代符號的理解轉化為深刻的視覺語言，期待觀者在作品中尋見自己的故事，以及生命中那些留在心底的深刻瞬間。 ▪️アーティスト・プロフィール 官思岑（KUAN, SZE-CHEN）は1976年、台湾・高雄生まれ。台湾大学経済学部を卒業後、米nに、ニューヨーク大学（NYU）でビジュアル＆テクノロジーの修士号を、パーソンズ美術大学（Parsons）でファッションデザインの学位を取得しました。ファッション、プロダクトデザイン、トータルスタイリングの各分野にわたり20年以上の豊富なキャリアを有し、中華圏や国際的なメイクアップ・スタイリング・コンテストの審査員も務めてきました。こうした長年にわたるデザインとファッションの経験が、純粋芸術（ファインアート）の創作へと転身した彼女にとって、極めてユニークな糧となっています。 官思岑の芸術スタイルは、奔放かつ個性的であり、その力強く突き抜けるような描線の中には、微視的な視点から捉えた「グロテスクな美学」が宿っています。 彼女にとってファッションとは、単なる外見の装いにとどまらず、社会の鼓動や個人のアイデンティティを映し出す「視覚的記号」です。 そして彼女が真に見つめているのは、外見の裏側に潜み、言葉にするのが難しい心理状態なのです。 自身の生い立ちや経験から、人間関係における衝突や不均衡、感情の葛藤に対して極めて鋭敏な感性を持つようになり、 そうした心理への洞察が、やがて彼女の創作活動の核心となっていきました。 彼女は人物を主なモチーフとし、油彩、アクリル、木炭を組み合わせて作品を制作します。 力強い描線や鮮やかな色彩、そして具象と抽象が交錯するフォルムを用い、愛と支配、接近と逃避、依存と拒絶といった、親密な関係性の中にありながら目には見えない、しかし確かに存在する力を探求しています。 色彩は彼女の感情の強さを表し、人物は内面的な状態を宿す「器」としての役割を果たしています。 現代の記号に対する理解を深遠な視覚言語へと昇華させ、鑑賞者が作品の中に自らの物語や、人生において心に深く刻まれた瞬間を見出すことを願っています。 ▪️ Artist Profile Kuan Sze-chen was born in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, in 1976. She graduated from the Department of Economics at National Taiwan University before pursuing further studies in the United States, where she earned a Master’s degree in Visual Arts and Technology from New York University (NYU) and a degree in Fashion Design from Parsons School of Design. With over twenty years of extensive experience spanning fashion, industrial design, and total styling, she has also served as a judge for makeup and styling competitions across the Greater China region and internationally. This wealth of accumulated experience in design and fashion has become a unique source of inspiration for her transition into fine art creation. Kuan's artistic style is spontaneous and distinctive, characterized by penetrating lines that harbor a microscopic, grotesque aesthetic. To her, fashion is not merely about outward styling but serves as a visual symbol reflecting the pulse of society and individual identity; yet, her true focus lies in the unspoken psychological states that unfold covertly beneath the surface. Her upbringing made her acutely sensitive to the conflicts, imbalances, and emotional tensions inherent in relationships, and this psychological insight has gradually become the core of her creative practice. Using the human figure as her primary medium—and combining oil paint, acrylic, and charcoal— she employs bold lines, vivid colors, and forms that blend the figurative with the abstract to explore the invisible yet palpable forces within intimate relationships: love and control, approach and withdrawal, dependence and resistance. Color represents the intensity of her emotions, while the figures serve as vessels for her inner states.
